QuickAngle / Privacy
Your images stay
on your device.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
QuickAngle is provided by Xiaochong Zhao. This policy explains how information is handled in the app and on this support website.
Camera and measurement images
QuickAngle uses camera access to detect edges and estimate angles. Image processing takes place on your device. Our measurement code does not upload camera frames or measurement images to us or to the advertising service.
When you save a measurement, QuickAngle requests permission to add the annotated image to your photo library. When you share an image, the app or service you select receives it and handles it under its own policies. You control what you save and share.
Local settings
Recognition preferences and the vertex-lock setting are stored on your device. QuickAngle does not require an account and does not operate a cloud measurement history service.
Advertising and consent
QuickAngle includes banner advertisements through Google AdMob and uses Google’s User Messaging Platform for applicable advertising privacy messages and choices.
Google’s advertising SDK may process IP addresses, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. An IP address may be used to estimate general location. Purposes described by Google include advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Actual processing depends on the SDK, configuration, and applicable choices.
QuickAngle does not request precise device location, contacts, or microphone access. The current app does not request access to Apple’s advertising identifier through App Tracking Transparency.
Where an advertising privacy message is presented, you can use its controls. When required by Google’s consent system, an advertising privacy options entry appears in QuickAngle’s Settings. Measurement works without an internet connection or available advertising.

This website
This website is hosted on a Linode server and delivered through Cloudflare. Requests may be processed with technical information such as IP address, request path, browser information, and request time to deliver content, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. This site does not add analytics scripts, advertising scripts, or contact forms. Cloudflare may process requests under its own policies and security settings.
Our web-server access logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations. Provider-side records are governed by the provider’s own policies.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond to requests and resolve issues, retaining it only as needed for those purposes or applicable legal obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal or sensitive information. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.
Retention and your choices
Saved measurement images remain in your photo library until you delete them. Photo synchronization and recovery follow your device and photo-service settings. Local app preferences can be removed by deleting the app. Google handles advertising information under its own policies and privacy controls.
You can manage camera and photo permissions in iPhone Settings, choose what to save or share, use available advertising privacy controls, and contact us about information you have sent to us. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
Children
QuickAngle is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically directed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website, or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
